Every year since 2009 there has been talk of a revival of Dancin’ to be produced by the Roundabout Theatre Company and performed at Studio 54. However this production keeps being postponed year after year, and may never materialize at all. Also, as Dancin’ had little singing, and all the music were popular standards and classical compositions, they never bothered to record a cast album. Thus Dancin’ is the fourth show nominated for the Tony for Best Musical for which there is no cast album currently available on CD, and the first one that is unavailable in any format.
