Dancin’ ran on Broadway for exactly four years and three months, opening on March 27, 1978 at the Broadhurst Theatre (pictured), then transferring to the Ambassador Theatre where it closed on June 27, 1982. Today the Broadhurst is in preparation for a new revival of the play A Streetcar Named Desire and the Ambassador is the home of the long running revival of Chicago.
